Description

Join us for the launch of the NHS Innovation Accelerator 2016!

This is an opportunity to meet and hear from the newly appointed eight Fellows and their evidence based innovations.

Professor Sir Bruce Keogh will open the launch at 2pm.

The NHS Innovation Accelerator is an NHS England initiative hosted by UCLPartners in partnership with the fifteen Academic Health Science Networks across the country. In its first year the NIA supported 17 exceptional individuals to scale their innovations and achieved some impressive results:

  • 388 additional NHS providers and commissioners using the NIA innovations
  • More than £17m secured in additional funding
  • 13 awards won in recognition of their work

In 2016/17, the NIA will continue to support the initial 17 Fellows as well as supporting a further eight.

We look forward to seeing you there.
